Harold EnsleyIn 1953 Harold Ensley helped invent the outdoor television industry with the production of his soon to be nationally televised “The Sportsman’s Friend” television show. For the next 21 years Harold’s show would be watched by thousands of television viewers 52 weeks a year.

In 1975 Harold’s show was the first television outdoor show to be syndicated across America coast to coast and would remain on the air for the next twenty seven years. For a total of forty eight years Harold Ensley has brought Hunting and Fishing to the sportsmen of this great country with guests such as “The king of the Cowboys Roy Rodgers”.  Baseball greats Ted Williams and Mickey Mantel. Actors Jimmy Stewart and Henry Fonda.

In 1964 , Harold’s Television work was honored with a Congressional Record. Harold is a member of the Fresh Water Fishing Hall of Fame as well As many others. Harold Ensley is truly “The Sportsman’s Friend”.
