Legend Biography

Alex is a tough active follow when it comes to game calling. He has over 30 years of hunting experience and is well versed in calling several types of wildlife such as deer, turkey, and predators. Alex has accumulated many titles competing in turkey calling contests over the years, including the 1986 National Amateur Turkey Calling Championship in Arkansas. That same year, he was named the Missouri State Champion. In 1988, Alex won the Grand National Gobbling Championship and in 1991, he won top honors as the "South Central Missouri Ozark Turkey Calling Champion" and the "Southwest Open Turkey Champion".
Alex is not only known for turkey calling, he is an accomplished white-tailed deer hunter consistently harvesting mature bucks mostly with bow and many captured on video. He has appeared on TNN Outdoors, ESPN Outdoor Adventure Magazine, and several hunting videos as well as television commercials for Hunter's Specialties Inc.
