Legend Biography

Bill Carson started his fishing career as a kid growing up on Lake Burton where he learned to fish from his Dad. He always wanted to catch just one more fish. To this day he loves to fish and share his passion for fishing with others. Bill is a Field Marketing Manager in the Fishing Group at Johnson Outdoors (Humminbird, Minn Kota, Cannon and LakeMaster). Prior to working for Johnson Outdoors, he was the Tournament Director and Director of Sales for FLW Outdoors, Promotions Manager for Bass Pro Shops as well as many Pro Staff affiliations. Bill truly believes fishing is the greatest sport on earth because everyone can do it. Bill continues to support the “future of fishing” in semi-retirement where he shares his passion and support for all anglers.
Bill resides in Lawrenceville, Georgia with his wife of 47 years and continues to have a passion for all things outdoors to include fishing of all types, hunting, hiking, golf and especially sharing the legacy of outdoors with his grand kids.
