Legend Biography

Bill has been an avid fisherman since his youth in Lynchburg,
Tennessee. Bill always dreamed of working in the fishing industry
and in his 20's he began to fish competitively. He used his success
as a springboard to a career in television.
Bill Dance Outdoors was born in 1968 and progressed from local
to regional and finally a national program. For over 30 years, Bill
has delivered fishing advice on television in his humorous, unique
way.
Bill’s accomplishments include being a member of the
International Fishing Hall of Fame, having 23 National Bass Titles,
being an 8 time Bass Master Classic Qualifier, and being a 3 time
B.A.S.S. Angler of the Year “1969, 1974, 1977".
