Legend Biography

Gus has hunted for over 30 years. Growing up in Brooklyn, New York, Gus wasn’t exposed to the outdoors in his youth, but began hunting in his early 30’s, being taught by a man who became like a second father to him. Gus was intrigued by not only the solace and peace one can find in the woods, but also by the knowledge and ability to feed his family from his harvest.

Gus continued to dedicate his life in hunting, while building a successful Drywall business and raising a family. He created and produces his television show “Live the Wild Life” and has been published in many hunting and outdoor publications.

Gus was inducted into the Pope & Young Fred Bear Society in 2017 and is involved with SCI, NRA, Boone & Crockett and several state specific Archery and Hunting organizations. He currently holds over 75 Pope & Young Entries, 11 Boone & Crockett Archery Entries and 4 SCI Top 10 World Records.

Gus is honored to be inducted into a select and prestigious group of hunters.
