Legend Biography

Mike won the Tennessee State Duck Calling competition twice, From there he
captured the “World Championship” in Stuttgart AR. In 1973, 1974, and again in
1977. Mike the beat seven other world champion duck callers to win the highlight of
his career, The coveted “ Champion of Champion” Duck Calling Championship
Title.
True to form of most duck calling title winners,, Mike has designed the call that he
feels well fill his demands.
Using his own call he won the 1977 “World Championship” and the “Champion of
Champions” contest. Now Mike McLemore game calls are in demand from water
fowlers all America. Mike believes a hunter must have a good call to be proficient,
whether on the contest stage, or in a duck blind.
Mike lives in Huntingdon TN with his wife, Anita. He performs demonstrations at
DU Banquets and Judges duck Calling contest. He travels across the country doing
sorts shows, performing master of ceremonies duties at several duck calling contests
speaking engagements all the while doing duck calling seminars and clinics for both
young and old water fowlers.
