Traversing five continents in search of the most challenging hunts, Vallery has succeeded where few women have. Not many women in the late 1970s and 1980s were hunting the species in the places she did. Within a period of 14 to 16 years, Vallery took 109 species, was honored a multitude of times, and had been invited to visit and hunt in areas of the world were few have had the opportunity.
As a role model, she uses her experiences to encourage women to enjoy the outdoors and she inspires women in the hunting arena. Her extensive hunting expertise and her keen sense of the world, haven enabled Vallery to hold highly esteemed positions in a variety of influential political and conservationist groups, as well as to raise funds for charitable organizations.
This accomplished huntress has devoted her life to the conservation of animals and says, "A real hunter or huntress is a conservationist, as I never take an animal that is not past his prime."
